Hello to all,

Since our last Blog post we went to a fish boil. That was very interesting.....it was like someone gave us a fish chopped in half on our plate....not my idea of how to eat fish. Guess you know I didn't (couldn't) eat it! The way they boiled it was cool, though!

We also visited a restaurant with Goats on the roof. We did eat there but you would never know the goats were up there. Bill grossed me out by having Pickled Herring....Yuck!!!!
That was it, I'd had enough of Door County, WI. Time to go!

We are now in Munising, MI. We have been very busy since we arrived here.
There are so many beautiful things to see here.

Lake Superior is the prettiest lake I've ever seen.
We have been hiking to waterfalls, seeing lighthouses, spending days on the beaches, at casino and on boat tours. It has all been so much fun!

The weather has been soooo nice since we arrived here, but we are in for some rain the next couple days.

We will only be here a couple more days then off to another pretty Michigan town.

Stay tuned for more Blogs......

Keep in touch with us.
We love and miss you all very much.

Love,
Penny & Bill

Hello to all......

We are having a great time here in WI.

While in Madison WI, we traveled to the Dell's (an area named after natural rock formations). There we took two boat tours. One of the Upper Dell's and one of the Lower Dell's. They were both nice. The Upper one was very different as we made two ports of calls. The trails we took at the ports of call were exceptional!

The Dell's rock formations are made of Potsdam Sandstone. We also have that kind of rock in Potsdam, NY. It's only in five states in the U.S.

We are now in Sturgeon Bay WI. About 30 miles North of Green Bay.
Since arriving here we have been quite busy sightseeing. There are a lot of small towns here with water, quaint stores and lots of ice cream shops.
They have Fish Boils here. We will be going out tonight to enjoy one.

There are pictures of a couple lighthouses we visited and a lodge where we had lunch. That would be a great place to stay should anyone want to visit Door County, WI.

Since arriving here we had yet another bad storm. Enough of the weather already......
Six major storms since we left NY.
We have had nice hot weather also but, the storms are hairy in the RV.
Tornado's, winds of 60-100 mph, hail, and lightning in excess of 13,000 strikes in an hour!

Stay tuned for more Blog........

Keep in touch with us. We miss you all.

Love,

Bill & Penny

Hello to all......

First off, let me say I'm sorry it's been so long since my last blog.
I know some of you have been looking for a new one.
I got a new computer and Bill has been doing some work to it to get it functional for me to blog. Along with that we also have been very busy with our friends, sightseeing and enjoying our time together.

Our time spent in Racine, WI was fun. We have some dear friends there, Dan & Linda.
We stayed at a Jellystone Park. It was quite nice.
We spent a lot of time at the beach, zoo and touring Racine. We went to Milwaukee to the Miller Brewery Company. It was very interesting there. We went on a tour and Bill got to taste Beer.

Our time here in Madison, WI has also been a lot of fun. We have some very special friends here. Carrie & Bill. I grew up with Carrie. She lived next door to me and I know as a kid I spent more time at their house than my own.

We have been very busy here. We visited a place called The House On The Rock. Although it had very pretty gardens it was a very strange and different place. It was soooo strange it can't be explained! One Man, one dream!

We also went to the Farmer's Market and the Capitol Building in downtown Madison. We got the whole tour. It was so nice! Tomorrow we will be visiting the Dells. There is a boat tour there. The next blog will have pictures of that. It should be fun!

The weather here has been HOT, But you know me... I love it! We have had a lot of rain storms and even a tornado warning all day yesterday.

Keep in touch with us. We don't hear much from anyone back home.

Stay tuned for more Blogs......

Penny & Bill
