Hello to all.....
We are here in Rapid City, SD. Having a wonderful time!
While here we paid a visit to Bear Country USA, Mt. Rushmore, Custer State Park and Crazy Horse Memorial.
As you look through the pictures, some are from just driving around seeing sights and some are from particular places. I hope you enjoy them. I had over three hundred to choose from!
Our time here in South Dakota was very short, but we saw some spectacular sights! We will be hitting the road again tomorrow. Headed to Billings, MT. From there we will be having our long awaited trip to Alaska. Sorry to say I won't be blogging from Alaska, but will catch up when we get back.
Love to you all, we miss you and hope for you to keep in touch with us along our way. For those of you who want to call, we are in the Mountain Time Zone (MST) which is two hours earlier than you all at home.
Stay tuned for more Blog......

Hello to all.....
Happy to be feeling much better these days.
We will be hitting the road to head West tomorrow morning.....Did I say West again?!
Yes, we should arrive in Billings, MT sometime around July 1ST. From there we will be leaving our RV to head to Alaska for a cruise/tour. We are both very excited and very much looking forward to getting back to out plans of sight seeing and travels.
In August Bill's Brother and Nephews will be joining us along with Brandon at Yellowstone National Park. We have a load of fun filled days with them planned.
Can't wait!
While here in WI. we had the chance to visit with some other friemds from Florida. Jan & Randy. It was so much fun to all be toghther again. Can't wait to get back to Florida to see everyone again.
As we wrap up our stay here in WI, we want to thank Dan, Linda and their whole Family for all the love and support during my illness here. You guys went above the call of duty to help us and we are so thankful for everything. So, Thank You with our whole hearts, we are so blessed to have such wonderful friends!
Stay tuned for more Blog as we continue on this journey......

The Yo-Yo quilt I've been working on. 520 Yo-Yo's. Measures 54x93. It's about half done
I have small Yo-Yo's to add to it where the edges meet, filling in all the holes.

Well.....Hello again,
I'm back and ready to update you all as to our journey.
Many of you already know this, but some do not so this will be an update of our time since we left Florida on March 1st.
The day before we left Florida I fell and sprained my ankle quite badly. From there on our spring and summer have just been the pits!!
Our trip to Texas was okay until we pulled onto our campsite. We hit a tree limb, damaging the roof on the RV quite badly. A couple days later we got the call to fly home because my stepfather Tom was close to passing. We arrived home with two days to spare. On April 1st he went to be with our Heavenly Father! We stayed in NY for three weeks to help out with things with Mom.
From there we went back to Texas to get the RV and take it to Middlebury, IN to have the repairs done to it. While repairs were being made we went back to NY for three more weeks to get doctors, dentists, and vehicle inspection appointments over with and visited with friends and family.
We arrived back in Middlebury, IN to pick up the RV and vacation in Shipshewana, IN for a week. While there I started to have pains in my belly. A visit to the ER told us those pains were actually Appendicitis. Surgery was a must. That prolonged our stay there for a few more days.
We traveled to Racine, WI where I could recover. Well, I got worse, not better!
A visit to Urgent Care turned into another trip to the ER again. From that point on we didn't get very good news. We found out that I was full of infections and that resulted in several days in the Hospital on IV antibiotics. I've been home now for just over a week and I am doing much better! I'm regaining strength, but it's been a tough road! Three very long weeks!!!
We are sooooo ready for our plans to get back to normal! Our trip to Alaska is still planned. It's in July only a few weeks from now. Then we will be enjoying some time in Yellowstone National Park.
Please pray for nothing else to happen to set us back!
We love and miss you all.
