The Island is about 20 miles long. Not much on this island. A few Banks, Gas Station, Supermarket and a few Restaurants. One Beach...if you want to call it a beach.
Found out that the KOA Campgrounds won't break your reservations and refund your money once you check in.... It's a ghost town here. All the RVs here are seasonal and no one is here. We are stuck here for three weeks...... :(
My cousin lives here in Cape Coral Florida. He is about 20 miles from us. Hope to spend some time with him and his family.
The Palm trees are sooo cool. There are lots of them with Coconuts on them. They are quite yellow right now. Not sure when they will be ripe.
The one thing we have to brag about is the weather....Cool nights but in the 80'S during the day.
It is quite nice to have a blue sky and the sun. :)
Hopefully we will be by the pool tomorrow or find a real beach off the island.

OMG!!!!! First of all I'm glad you guys are having fun. Too bad about the campground, but you can enjoy the time alone and Bill can recoupe a little. Secondly I have been sitting here laughing myself to tears my sister . If they have coconuts on them aren't they coconut trees not palm trees LMAO!!!! Sorry, not picking on you, but that was way too funny.....thanks for the laugh....needed that today.....love you guys!!!!!
It looks beautiful to me. Or is that little patch of sand literally the beach you referred to?
Other than "mud beach" it looks nice. Hopefully you'll get some friendly neighbors soon. Take care!
Love the pics Penny! The beach may be small but that pic is gorgeous!! You guys need some R&R so enjoy while you can :) I'm sure you will get a lot of sight seeing in!
