Hello to all.....

First, let me wish each and everyone of you a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

This year has been full of joy and also tragedy for our family and some of our friends.
As we go into these holidays may we never forget those who have left us this year. I myself treasured my father-in-law and the many friends that I lost.
Every one of them made a lasting impression on my life and I will always treasure what I had with everyone of them in many different ways. Knowing that they are all with our Heavenly Father makes it easier to face these up coming days.

Brandon will be joining us tomorrow (Monday) and we will be headed to Orlando for a few days. Looking forward to having him with us. :)

Happy Holidays to you all. May you all find Joy this Holiday Season.

Stay tuned for more Blog.....

Love to you all,

Hello to all,

Just a quick post to let everyone know that I am back in N.Y..
My step-father Tom is very sick. He is in the Hospital with many things wrong with him and he needs lots of prayers.

For those of you who know him, you know how sick he is. For those who don't know him let me update you.

Tom is a Diabetic. It has caused him a ton of issues over the years.
He lost his kidneys many years ago, followed by a kidney transplant something like 36years ago. He lost most of his eyesite and both legs. He now has lost the function of the transplant kidney and is on dialysis. He also has had many heart issues and his heart is now only fuctioning at 14% and they found a mass on this lung that they have to do a biopsy on Monday to check for lung cancer.

And I ask you..... how much can one man take? This is why I'm asking for prayers for him.

Thank you to all,

Penny

Hello to all......

We have arrived in Lakeland, Florida. The weather here is very nice! It's in the low 80's everyday and in the 60's at night.

Since arriving in Florida we visited SeaWorld, Downtown Disney and spent some time enjoying the sun at the pool.
It's such a blast here...so much to do.

Before arriving here we spent some time in Pigeon Forge, TN. We visited the Smokey Mountains National Forest, and went to some shows at night. The Dixie Stampede was really fun!
We had the chance to spot a few bears, deer and elk. It was spectacular!
A wee bit hairy on the mountainside roads, the twisty turns and steepness was extreme in our big truck.

Just a quick update on my Stepfather Tom: He is home for the hospital. Very weak and not able to do much but at least after three plus weeks he is home. He is on dialysis every two days. They are working on transportation for him since he lives in Monroe County and his dialysis is in Ontario County (Victor) he can't get transport (Mom still works every day). Anyone willing to help please let me know. Thank you for the continued prayers for him.

Hope you enjoy the pictures. Stay tuned for more Blog.....

Keep in touch with us. We miss you all.

Love,
Penny & Bill

Hello to all.....

So much to tell you all about! Nashville, TN is a wonderful and fun place!

Since we arrived here almost two weeks ago we have been to Opry five times, taken a dinner cruise on the General Jackson, attended a concert at the Fontanel Mansion as well as touring the mansion itself. Of course we visited downtown Nashville, with its shopping and the Honky Tonk Bars.

The weather has been very nice for the most part. The only rain we had just happened to be during the Gretchen Wilson - Montgomery Gentry Concert, and it came down.....we got wet! Other than that we can't complain, it's been in the high 70's and 80's every day. Cooler nights.

We had the most wonderful tour at the Fontanel Mansion it is the former home of Barbara Mandrell. The tour guide was wonderful and we have become friends with him. His Name is Steven Whitson (look him up on Facebook). He has an amazing voice and is going far in Country Music. His picture is towards the end of the pictures so don't give up, there are a lot of them this time. Enjoy them.

Along with having a blast here, our thoughts have been at home again with my stepfather Tom. He has been in the hospital for almost two weeks and yesterday they moved him to ICU. Today after better care...he is doing a wee bit better. I know one thing, it's hard to be away form those we love when they are so sick. Please keep him in your prayers. Get stronger Tom and keep up the fight!

Miss you all and love you much.

Hello to all....

Since our last blog we have arrived in Nashville, TN. While here we have a lot of Opry shows planned along with some concerts and a dinner cruise on the General Jackson. We will be visiting with some friends also. We will be very busy!

While in Kentucky we had a blast with my cousin Frank, Val and family. We stayed in a small town while there called Renfro Valley. We visited The Cumberland State Park and The Cumberland Gap National Park.

Bill and Frank visited Wild Turkey Distillery, while Val and myself went to some craft shows. Our time there went fast and we had a ton of fun together. Enjoy the pictures!

Stay tuned for the next Blog....
