First, let me wish each and everyone of you a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
This year has been full of joy and also tragedy for our family and some of our friends.
As we go into these holidays may we never forget those who have left us this year. I myself treasured my father-in-law and the many friends that I lost.
Every one of them made a lasting impression on my life and I will always treasure what I had with everyone of them in many different ways. Knowing that they are all with our Heavenly Father makes it easier to face these up coming days.
Brandon will be joining us tomorrow (Monday) and we will be headed to Orlando for a few days. Looking forward to having him with us. :)

It was a different Christmas this year. It's not fun letting go of the people you love and the traditions that make the holidays meaningful and special. It's not fun moving on when the way things have always been was just fine. It's going to be a while before the next generation takes the reigns and new traditions take hold. I'm sure in time they will, but for now it's still good, just not as fun.
Just a quick note to say hello. Hopefully, you are getting some decent weather and enjoying the "winter". In Rochester, it's cold-cold-cold...but we could use some more snow. There never seems to be enough snow.
