Hello again,
I know, another Blog so soon?!
We arrived here in Billings, MT on friday, July 1st. Since we arrived we have been quite busy.
We took a long drive into the Beartooth Mountains. Beartooth Pass is the name of the road and oh boy was it fun! The snow covered Mountains were so pretty. The temp up there at 10,000 feet was in the low 60's. Down in town that day it reached 98. While driving through the mountains we spoke with a couple who grew up in this part of town. They told us they have never seen this much snow up here in July before. We were also told that Beartooth Pass just opened three weeks ago because they were still getting snow! Glad it was open for us to visit!
The road we were on lead us into Yellowstone National Park. You will see we got to see lots of wildlife. Over all it was a blast!
For the rest of this week it will be our focus to get ready to leave here on Friday for our Cruise-Tour of Alaska. We will be in Alaska from July 8th - July 24th. Bill will be having a birthday while in Alaska!
You will also see pictures of the flooded Yellowstone River. Yes, an oil spill happened while we have been here but it's not right in our area, it's down stream a bit. They are working hard to clean it up. Too bad the river is flooded and making it even harder for them.
To Rob Lamy, Good luck at the World Series of Poker, we will be thinking of you and praying you to win big!!!
To Brandon, Have fun on your ATV trip to PA. Be safe, don't make me worry!
Hope everyone has a safe and healthy couple weeks.
Look for more Blogs when we return for our trip!
Love to you all,

Penny what a great trip. I remember when I was in middle school going to montana with my grandmother and staying on a dude ranch and seeing yellowstone and the river. One of the best memories I have is sleding on raincoats down the top of one of the mt. in the middle of July and throwinf snow balls. Hope you make lots of lasting memories and keep the pictures coming.
